Unfortunately, mining at this locality was short-lived due to a mine collapse, and no new production has occurred since. These extraordinary garnets, affectionately nicknamed “Lava Garnet,” are renowned for its electrifying, neon-orange hues that make it one of the most visually striking gemstones on the market. This vibrant garnet glows with intense fiery saturation, ranging from bright tangerine to deep pumpkin orange, captivating gem enthusiasts and collectors alike.
