Intentionally Designed

At the beginning of every gem's transformation, the core of our work is a deep understanding of gemstone mineralogy and optical optimization. Each stone begins with ethically sourced rough, selected not only for clarity and saturation, but also for its structural suitability for high-precision faceting. All of our gem designs are created in-house ensuring facet patterns to optimize light return, color, brilliance, dispersion, and contrast, and more. We believe each gemstone should be honored as a unique piece, and we take great pride in working to bring out the maximum beauty of the stone. That's why they're never cut for yield - they're cut for performance. Every gemstone we sell is cut or recut by us. We design each faceting plan ourselves, often creating custom diagrams tailored to the specific optical behavior of that individual crystal. This includes variables such as:

  • Perfectly optimized facet angles to ensure the brightest gem possible
  • Brilliance and scintillation through strategic facet placement
  • Tailored pavilion depths to draw out the best color

We are honored to be two-time AGTA Spectrum Award recipients, a recognition reserved for excellence in both gemstone aesthetics and cutting precision. Our approach to faceting exhibits the following:

  • Meet-point accuracy under 10x magnification
  • Ultra-fine diamond grit polish to produce a clean, high-luster finish
  • 16 years of collective faceting expertise to ensure the best quality product

All of our rough is sourced through trusted, traceable channels. We prioritize origin disclosure, ethical labor practices, and transparent supply chains. Our rough inventory includes materials from small-scale artisanal miners, family-owned operations, environmentally regulated commercial sources.
