Two sculpted serpents form the band of this ring, their heads rising in symmetry to meet a vivid, grass green emerald-cut tsavorite at the center. Diamond eyes give each snake a quiet watchfulness, while intricate scale detailing continues along the band, creating depth and texture in every curve.

Long a symbol of transformation, protection, and hidden wisdom, the snake carries ancient meaning — a guardian of secrets, a creature of renewal. Tsavorite garnet is celebrated for its exceptional brilliance and rarity, and this particular gem embodies the vibrant energy of nature in motion. In this piece, those ideas take shape in precious form: grounded in nature, enshrouded with myth, and alive with green fire.

STONE ORIGIN AND HISTORY:

TANZANIA & KENYA (Tsavorite)
Tsavorite garnet is one of the world’s most coveted green gemstones, prized for its vivid, pure green hues that range from fresh grass green to deep pine forest tones. This rare and vibrant garnet was first discovered in 1967 near the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro and named after the nearby Tsavo National Park in Kenya.

Found in both Tanzania and Kenya, Tsavorite occurs in small, high-quality deposits within metamorphic rock formations. These deposits are limited and highly selective, making fine tsavorites exceptionally scarce. The combination of rarity, remarkable brilliance, and eye-clean clarity means tsavorite garnets often rival emeralds in desirability—offering greater durability and usually fewer inclusions.

Because the supply is relatively small and the gem’s beauty undeniable, demand significantly outpaces availability. This scarcity, paired with global interest, has driven tsavorite garnet to become a prized gem in collections and fine jewelry worldwide.

We are proud to offer carefully sourced tsavorites that capture the vibrant green essence of East Africa—exceptional stones that represent both natural rarity and timeless elegance.
